A graduate of the Catholic University of Louvain, Dr Michel Vanoudenhoven developed an early interest in the impact of trace elements on enzyme activity and gene expression. He went on to explore natural approaches such as phytotherapy, fasting, mono-diets, and the Functional Medicine of Dr Ménétrier, before integrating the energetic dimension of health, particularly in relation to oxidation-reduction processes and cellular vitality.
He later specialised in functional nutrition, earning a university diploma in Human Nutrition (Nancy) and an additional qualification in Sports Medicine and Biology (Montpellier).
Today, Dr Vanoudenhoven practises integrative medicine, combining functional and biological perspectives, with a deep respect for the interconnections between all systems of the human body.
